Big Uncle Fall 2018
Big Uncle presented a tightly-curated capsule collection of burgundy, grey, old rose and shades of ochre, displayed in classic to vintage silhouettes, generally in understated 2-tone colorblocking. The oversized scarves and textured sweaters are particularly reminiscent of handcrafted hand-me-downs, often cleverly-detailed with topstitched yarn that ends in a fray. "Quasi-handmade" seems to be this season's charm!
The FW 2018/19 presentation was held at Inoda+Sveje furniture showroom in the Brera Design District in Milan.
