The Turbulent Friendship of Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow, in a Movie
The news has been circulating on the internet for quite some time, but variety.com has now confirmed that a movie is being developed about the life of famed British designer Alexander McQueen, and his friendship--stormy at times--to Isabella Blow, who is known to have discovered Lee Alexander McQueen (she later advised him to drop "Lee" from his name, in preference of the regality of "Alexander"), and purchased his entire graduate collection for £5,000 (wikipedia).
The article does not offer much details like production schedule and actors playing the roles, but it has confirmed that Gesha-Marie Bland has written the script, and that Maven Films is developing this fashion drama, entitled "The Ripper".
